When selecting windows, please consider materials, transmission, scattering, parallelism and resisitance to certain environment or mechanical properties of the substrate.
ZnSe Windows
The zinc selenide (ZnSe) window material is a yellow transparent polycrystalline material, it will become red when to meet the light. It is toxic, odorless. The material is soft and easy to produce scratches.
The zinc selenide (ZnSe) window has a light transmission range of 0.5-15 μm. It is an ideal material for protecting windows and optical components in imaging systems. Zinc selenide (ZnSe) window and lens is also widely used in medical and industrial thermal radiation meters and infrared spectrometers.
