KOO Eyewear now offers spare variable-tone photochromic lenses designed to adapt to different light conditions, as well as optical clips suitable for ophthalmic lens applications, suitable for its Demos and Spectro sunglasses.

The new photochromic lens is designed for long-distance riding in the saddle, through mountainous clouds or diving into tree-lined downhills, and can be adjusted when light and weather conditions change rapidly. The lens has a variable VLT (69% to 12%) and provides 100% UV protection. It also has an anti-fog internal coating.

When exposed to the harshest light, the lens will provide a dimming effect, turning it into a deep pink. In low light conditions, the lens will fade, thereby improving contrast and sharpness.
