REDBLACKS hits Montreal Alouettes again at the end of the season

MONTREAL-On Friday night, the Ottawa Red-Blacks defeated Montreal Alouettes 19-18 at the Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. Rookie quarterback Caleb Evans designed a touchdown score that won the game later.

Montreal (7-7) led 18-11 with a three-minute warning, but the error of running back to Jeshrun Antwi gave the red and black teams (3-11) a chance to be late.

Evans narrowed Montreal's lead to one point in the last minute. He ended the 89-yard game with a one-yard sprint. Then he made a two-point conversion by contacting RJ Harris, allowing Ottawa to win one. Eleven seconds left in the victory.
